still crying for Teoh

It's 3.30 in the morning. I couldn’t sleep. I felt numb since i read the first news. I tried writing my thought on my bed using my little computer but the mind and fingers didn’t synchronise properly. I don't even know Teoh Beng Hock until today. He is not my family, not my friend and not even a Malay. But i cried for him, i cried for humanity.

Under the law of Tort MACC is responsible until they can prove they are not, as Teoh was in their premises due to their instructions. He was under their custody.

Not to indulge in law, I’m grasping for logic. How did he die? Jumped down? Why did he jump? A few of those knew him said there was no sign he would likely commit suicide. His lawyer, M Manoharan who sent him to MACC building said he look happy and composed. Why commit suicide when he is due to get married today?

Interrogation till wee hours if he was not a suspect was it beyond or within the power of MACC?

How come his back of pants were torn? That was unusual/impossible when you fall in the position he fell.

Now the darkness shrouding our public institutions like MACC, Police, SPR and Judiciary is no small matter. They have been long viewed as machineries to suppress anyone consider against the view of the government. You can say it is not so, but in people’s mind the continued chain of events are not easily erasable.

Are these people prepared even to kill for the sake of maintaining their status quos and to continue walking tall in the corridor of power?

Opposition leaders are the main targets. They are haarased and intimidated at every chance by police, MACC et al. And now a man has become a real victim.

Maybe to you, I’m jumping to conclusion. No I don’t. Just to recap of some infamous incidents, as follows:

· How was it Altantuya and her friends’ names disappeared from Immigration record?

· Why did Bala disappeared until today the moment he retracted his statutory declaration?

· How was Kugan’s medical report done by independent doctor different than the government’s version?

· How was that Saiful Bukhari’s sodomy medical report dosent show any signs of sodomization but still they can charge Anwar with sodomy?

· Why witnesses in Razak Baginda’s case weren’t allowed to say they motive of killing?

· How come when matters involved with opposition leaders the Police, MACC and Judiciary jump at lightening speed? I am not saying this for nothing. Read todays Berita Harian report here. Compare it to report of Dr Khir Toyo's 24 millions mansion just a few days earlier. Any investigation on him?

Let the people see these arguments, whether they make sense or not?

Let us all mourn for Teoh, as this is the darkest day yet for Malaysia.
